About Monday night volleyball: It's "pick-up" at Safety Harbor City Park (on 7th St S). All comers welcome. Even numbers are NOT important. When uneven, we balance sides by skill level and play 3 on 4, 4 on 5, etc. -- no problem. Don't touch the net. Play stops. Point loss. We do that to keep it safer. There's a rope around the court. The line is in bounds! No net on the serve. We usually call obvious carries, when the hand follows the motion of the ball. Double-hit (accidental) on the serve is allowed. Our motto: When in doubt -- do it over. No children (on the court during play). About this site: BayNews9 Doppler 9000 (icon above) is our standard "rain and wind gauge".
